Paulina gives acro yoga classes and courses in Krachtstof quite often. To test if this is something for you, we have two workshops you can join on August 26.

Chef Carli zet de picknicktafels vol met lekkere vulling en toppings. Je krijgt van ons een wrap en mag zelf beslissen wat je erop doet (en hoeveel). Verder zorgen we voor lekkere cervezas en muziek. 

Sluit samen met ons de zomer af. Een ticket = een wrap, dus je kunt er ook gelijk meer bestellen. Dat kan natuurlijk ook ter plekke.

Chef Carli will fill the picnic tables with tasty fillings and toppings. We will provide you with a wrap, and you can decide for yourself what to put on it (and how much). We also provide tasty cervezas and music.

Back by populair demand! Be aware, it is the same workshop we hosted in June.

For many people, fear and overcoming fears are part of climbing. From fear of falling to fear of failing, from fear of heights or being watched and to sky-high expectations. You can also feel fear without knowing it's orgin. However, this fear influences how you climb. 

In the GRIP ON FEAR workshop, Esther Korte and Rachel Chesal challenge you to take a close look at your mind and everything that's going on inside it when you are in the climbing gym. Esther is a physiotherapist specializing in fear of returning to sports after an injury. Rachel is a route setter and an experienced climbing coach who focuses on mindset.

We start by explaning you the theory: what actually is fear and how you can train your thoughts just like your muscles. Then we head up the wall to practise recognizing when the alarm bells start ringing! Esther and Rachel will provide you with tools to switch them off and create space to focus on your climbing. This way, you can continue your session with pleasure and without fear geting in your way. Because believe it or not, you don't have to ‘overcome’ fear to push your boundaries!

This workshop will be given in English but both Esther and Rachel speak Dutch as well. So don't worry about finding the right words.

We are thinking of climbing first, changing into our new designed-by-Giulia-and-Tabea-pride shirts, make some signs and decorations together and head to Pride with as many community members as possible for a day filled with love and joy.

Elke tweede vrijdag van de maand organiseert Kweer Boulder Leiden een gettogether in Leiden. Iedereen is welkom. Lijkt het je leuk om met andere open minded mensen te klimmen? Kom dan lekker langs.

Op 10 januari 2025 is het eerste event in boulderhal Krachtstof. De inloop is vanaf 19.30 en om 20.00 doen we een gezamenlijke warming-up waarna iedereen, na een korte instructie, zelf kan klimmen. De organisatie van Kweer Boulder Leiden loopt rond om waar nodig te begeleiden. Geen zin om te klimmen maar wel in voor een drankje? Ook dan ben je van harte welkom en hoef je geen entree te betalen. Aanmelden kan via @KweerBoulderLeiden op Instagram of loop lekker binnen. Ben je onder de 18, dan is aanmelden verplicht. 

Er zijn geen gendervrije kleedkamers beschikbaar maar wel gendervrije toiletten.

Admission between 6:00PM and 8:30 PM for new climbers is just €7.50, including rental shoes. Our instructor Robbert is available between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM. You will receive a clear explanation and the instructor is available to help and offer tips.

In Krachtstof we host the Intro night every 2nd Monday of the month. You don't have to sign up!

Tijd voor editie drie! Jaarlijks organiseren wij ZWAARTEKRACHT, ons grootste event. Dit jaar op zaterdag 19 september. Zoals altijd zijn er 40 boulders die oplopen in moeilijkheid.

Maar het is meer dan een wedstrijd; Carli zorgt voor superlekker eten, we verzinnen toffe side events, Bart bouwt iets bijzonders, je ontvangt een limited edition t-shirt, we hebben gekke twists, draaien goede muziek, we hebben een prijzentafel en het community gevoel is enorm. En we sluiten de avond af met een benchmark surprise finale! 

Het t-shirt zit bij het ticket inbegrepen, maar eten niet. Lunch, drinken en snacks kun je op de dag zelf bij de bar kopen. Omdat er veel moet gebeuren in weinig tijd, tussen de competitie en de finale, werken we met food tickets voor het diner. Je kunt alleen avondeten met een food ticket en eigen consumptie of eten bestellen staan we niet toe. 

Er zijn twee vega(n) opties die je tussen 18:00 en 19:00 op kunt halen bij de bar.

Time for edition three! Every year, we organize ZWAARTEKRACHT, our biggest event. This year it will take place on Saturday September 19th. As always, there are 40 boulders, going up from easy to very hard.

But it is much more than just a competition; there is delicious food from Carli, cool side events, Bart will build something special, you’ll receive a limited edition t-shirt, we have crazy twists, great music, a prize table and the community feeling is huge. And of course the evening ends with a benchmark surprise finale!

The t-shirt is included with the ticket, but food isn't. You can buy lunch, drinks, and snacks at the bar on the day itself. Because there is a lot to do in a short time between the competition and the final, we are working with food tickets for dinner. You can only get dinner with a food ticket; we do not allow you to bring your own food or order food.

There are two vegetarian/vegan options that you can pick up at the bar between 18:00 and 19:00.

Vanwege ons jaarlijkse personeelsfeest, zijn al onze hallen op 26 september eerder dicht. 
Je kunt tot 16:00 in Krachtstof terecht, daarna gaan we een feestje vieren. Op de 27e staan we gewoon weer (redelijk) fris en fruitig voor je klaar vanaf 09:00! 

Due to our annual staff party, all our gyms will close earlier on September 26.You can visit Krachtstof until 16:00, after which we will be celebrating. On the 27th, we will be back, (reasonably) fresh and ready for you from 09:00!

Na twee supersuccesvolle edities weten we het zeker, Press Play is here to stay! De Nintendo avond gaat vaker terugkomen in Krachtstof. De vierde editie zal plaatsvinden op zondag 11 oktober 

In het kort: we maken ter plekke verschillende teams, Bart legt ons uit welke spellen we dit keer spelen, hij sluit verschillende consoles aan op de beamer en houdt de puntentelling bij. De winnaar wordt bepaald met een epische eindbattle! Heb je nog vragen, schiet Bart dan even aan in de hal!

After two very successful editions, we know for sure: Press Play is here to stay! The Nintendo night will return to Krachtstof more often. Our fourth edition will take place on Sunday, October 11.

In short: we form different teams on the spot, Bart explains which games we are playing this time, he connects various consoles to the beamer and keeps track of the scores. The winner is determined with an epic final battle! If you have any questions, just approach Bart in the gym.

YESSSSSSSSSSSS, we mogen dit jaar ook weer meedoen met de Popronde! Op 12 november is er muziek door heel Leiden heen. En zo ook in Krachtstof. 

Vorig jaar werd er op de bar gedanst, gejonast met managers, meegeschreeuwd en heel veel feest gevierd. Binnenkort horen we welke bands er dit jaar op onze locatie optreden, maar we hebben "dansbaar" aangevraagd dus waarschijnlijk wordt het net zo knotsgek als vorig jaar! 

YESSSSSSSSSSSS, we get to participate in the Popronde again this year! On November 12, there will be music all over Leiden. And also in Krachtstof.

Last year, people danced on the bar, the manager went home with a concussion, we sang along loudly and partied hard. We will soon find out which bands will be performing at our venue this year, but we requested "danceable" music, so it will probably be just as crazy as last year!
